A complete course of driver training, (as required for teens by the state of Ohio)
consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind the wheel training for only:
The in-car phase consists of 4 2-hour lessons of behind-the-wheel instruction; during those eight hours, we work on the correct uses of indicators and controls,
the effects of nature on driving, proper attitudes, maneuvering the automobile,
defensive driving and driving in various types of traffic.
Some of those different traffic situations include: rural driving, driving in light
traffic areas, driving in heavy traffic, driving in a multi-level parking garage,
angle parking, u-turns, railroad crossings, three-point turnabouts, incline parking,
perpendicular parking, angle parking, lane changing, passing, highway and expressway driving
and, of course, maneuverability.
Our classroom sessions are held on Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6 ‘til 10 PM.
There are 6 different classroom segments,
they can be taken in any order, but all six must be completed.
We typically start a new series on the first Tuesday of the month, but there are
exceptions, please consult the Classroom Schedule to confirm the dates.

The classroom lessons begin sharply at 6 PM,
at your first class you should arrive 20 minutes early, if possible,
so that we can complete the necessary paperwork required by the state of Ohio.
